Twice the yarn, twice the warmth, twice the fun! Learn the basics of stranded colorwork while you make this simple but beautiful hat. By the time you’re done with class you’ll have the foundation you need to tackle those beautiful Fair Isle and Icelandic colorwork sweaters. By the end of class you’ll have a beautiful hat, perfect as a gift or to keep for yourself. Pompom on top optional!
Time: 2 two-hour classes Level 3: Look, I made some stuff! I can knit and purl, knit in the round, increase and decrease, and I’m ready to try something new. One variegated and one solid are ok as long as there is good contrast throughout. As a reminder, yarn for classes must come from KGY. Visit our class policy page for more information. Preparation: Please read the entire pattern before class starts. Before the first class, use your lighter colored yarn (your main color) to complete the ribbing section and increase row. Come to class with 112 sts on your smaller needle, ready to switch to the larger needle and start the chart. If you need help, come to Knit Studio! Cost: $60 Date: Tuesday evenings, November 28 and December 12, 5:30-7:30 Taught by Melissa. Class is limited to 6 seats.
